Game Hints

It is much faster to select a weapon by drawing one then pressing up or down on the 
D-Pad, but the gamaplay will continue while you do this, leaving you vulnerable to 
attack. So if you want to do it a safer way, press select and the gameplay stops. In 
the menu that appears, you can safely select items, health packs, and weapons without 
the game continuing.
