Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness

TOMB RAIDER :THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS WALKTHROUGH (still in process) ***I am making this to help all you Tomb Raider fans out there get through the game. This is for you to use for your entertainment. Not to be copied with out my permission. Please play by the rules. Please ask if you want to post it on your site first. I will say yes! Just e-mail me at cowboys@stis.net It is the right thing to do. My intention is to help players out with this fantastic but hard and sometimes frustrating game. Good luck and feel free to e-mail me with any hints or suggestions or screw ups on my part. I will give you credit. Parisian Back Streets After the cool movie scene you will land in a dark alley in Parisian. Your goal is to find Margot Carvier and drill her for some questions. You will find her in her apartment. You will have to climb and go over a lot of roof tops to get there. Worse is that nasty Rottweiler has your backpack. Let him keep it it’s not worth losing your fingers over it. Well find more. Before you do anything lets get one thing out of the way first. Make sure you keep a low profile and do not get spotted by any Gendarme. At the first sign of trouble by being spotted use your Stealth mode to stay hidden and sneak around. This is a new tool to the Tomb Raider series. Use it, it will keep you alive and playing the game. Walk forward and follow the training advice. You need to go under the door marked with a green sign that reads “Martin Meallet”. You will see a glow on the floor here. This is a chocolate bar which gives you an energy boost when you eat it. Pick it up. I will tell you from time to time to pick up items like these. I will not point out all of them or this walkthrough would take me forever to complete. Keep your eye out for things that glow and pick them up along the way ok? The door is locked so turn and check out the dirty yucky alley. In the alley is an angry Rottweiler chained to the wall. He can’t do anything to you because he’s chained. If you really wanted to be mean you could kick him to death. What would that accomplish other than a nasty bite perhaps. Just leave him alone. There is another door at the end of the alley that is locked so don’t waste your time. Go to the corner near the door you picked up the chocolate bar from. You will see a metal box in the corner. Walk up to the box and you will climb up onto it. Turn right and look up to see a small balcony. Walk to the edge of the box using the walk button so you will not fall off. Now jump up and grab the ledge to the balcony. Pull yourself up. Up on the balcony notice that there is a gap in front of you. Now you can either run up to the edge of the gap and jump, or walk up to the edge and jump to the other side of the gap. It’s your choice. Go past the door on the other side of the gap with a round window in it. You will see a ladder. Keep going until you come to a locked gate. You will not be able to go any farther. If you look closely you will notice that across the way there is the door you came through at the beginning of this game to reach the alley. There is another glow on the floor. That glow is a Large health pack. You don’t have to get it. You can just climb up the ladder instead. I suggest you get it though. Collect as many health items as you can get in this game. To get the health pack, line yourself up with the door across the way. Now you need to have running room. Save before trying this if you would like. That way you will not have to come all the way back up here if you miss. You can save anywhere anytime in this game. The way all games should be in my opinion!! Don’t get me started! Now run and jump over the railing to leap across the alley to the door. Pick up the health pack. Save it for a rainy day. Now jump back down to the alley and go back the same way you went to get to the ladder before. You need to climb up the ladder to get to the Derelict Apartment Block. To climb ladders in this game all you have to do is walk right up to the ladder and Lara will position herself on the ladder to await your command. Climb the ladder now to the top and then go left onto the upper balcony. Now when you are on small ledges like this throughout the game, get in the habit of using your walk mode to keep from falling off things. It is real easy to fall off a ledge or whatever while in run mode. Don’t say I did not warn you. Walk around the balcony to a another ladder right next to a window. The window is open. Face the open window and move towards it. Lara will climb through the window on her own to the empty apartment. Now we need to search the apartment for goodies. There is some cash, mula, buckaroos in the cabinet. You will find a chocolate bar in a drawer. Over by the bed are some Antique Doubloons on the ground. You will find these here and there in this early chapter. You can collect them to get money at a pawn shop later on. There is a locked Armoire that you cannot open yet. You will need a crowbar to break open the lock. We will come back to it later to get a Necklace to pawn after we get the crowbar. That’s it for the apartment for now. Exit back out the open window to the balcony ledge. Now climb up the ladder next to the window. At the top of the ladder get off to your right onto another balcony. The door you see right next to you is locked. Continue along the ledge until you see across the way an opposite rooftop. To your left on the ground are some more Antique Doubloons. Now go back to where you can see the Opposite rooftop and walk to the edge. You should be facing the rooftop across the way. Now save the game like I said before any possible tough jump that may break your neck. Now jump over the gap to the rooftop. If you made it you landed on the roof of the opposite building. Now catch your breath and turn left. Walk to the railing and then halt, stop, hold it! You see that wood railing right in front of you? Climb over it. Remember let Lara climb over the things she can climb over. You don’t have to jump over everything. Now you are on a small balcony that is railed in. Grab the chocolate bar on the floor. Go back the way you came over the wood railing to the roof ledge. Go all the way straight to the end of the ledge and make a right. Here’s a little secret for ya! The controls of Lara sometimes can be a real pain in the you know what. The camera angle gets all screwed up half the time. If you press down on your right analog stick (A.K.A.) R3 you will center the camera right behind Lara. That makes it much easier to control Her. I played half way through the game before I figured this out. Anyway, after you make that right turn Lara will explain to you the Hop-Jump method. You will need to master this believe you me, Especially later on in the game. If you cannot get this down then you might as well quit now. It’s not hard really! You can always refer to you manual that came with the game to get it down. Now with the walk button held down, go across the ledge over the wood plank to the drain pipe. It is connected to the side of the building, you can’t miss it. Lara will grab hold of it like she does the ladders and await your command. Now start climbing on up. Shift your camera with your right analog stick to the right so you can spot where you need to go. At the top of the drain pipe move Lara to the right so she can grab the rooftop ledge. You only have a small amount of grip strength this early in the game so make it snappy. Another words, don’t mess around hanging too long our Lara will fall off. Quickly Shimmy to your right until you see the pattern of the wall change. Now press the action button to drop onto the tiled roof. Be careful on the tile roof. You will slip and slide real easy. If you do you might fall. Turn right instead of walking around and slipping. Now grab the roof ledge and shimmy to the right, around the corner. Yes Lara can shimmy even around corners. Pull up onto the roof of the apartment building. You will see a bunch of birds fly away. Cross the roof. Along the way you will see a shed or hut that is locked to your right. Yep another lock for the old crowbar we are looking for. There is also a huge water tower for the apartment. You will also see a barrel that needs to be moved by Lara. Follow the training explanation on how to move things in the game. The barrel is in the corner. Once you have moved the barrel, go the opening in the metal fence. If you look over the edge you will see something glowing. Hum wonder what it is? It’s the crowbar we’ve been searching for. Drop over with the action button below to pick it up. Now jump back onto the roof. Go to the shed or hut and press the action button and Lara will pop the lock. Lara will also say that she feels stronger. This has up graded your grip strength to level 2! Yeah. The higher your grip level is the longer you will be able to Shimmy with out getting tired and falling off. Inside the shed you will see some barrels and a cabinet that is red. Open up the cabinet and pick up a M-V9 9mm Semiautomatic. Nice. Too bad we don’t have any ammo for it yet. We will later though. Now if you want, you can go all the way back to that empty apartment with the open window. Remember the locked Armoire with the necklace in it? You don’t have to but I went back for it. I needed the money. Story of my life. After you go get the necklace meet back here at the shed. I’ll wait for you. Go back to the roof edge where you picked up the crowbar from. Jump back down again to where you picked up the crowbar. Now jump and grab the roof edge. Quickly shimmy to the left and drop and land next to a locked gate. This locked gate is the next challenge for Lara. We need to get a key to open it. Here we will use the stealth for the first time. Stand up close to the wall at the corner of the building and press the stealth button. Next press the action button. This will cause Lara to hug up against the wall. Ever so carefully move to your left to peer around the corner. Around the corner in the distance up a couple of steps is a Gendarme patrolling the area. Staying in stealth mode sneak around the corner. Continue to move slowly toward the steps. You will see the Gantry Gate key that you need on the floor. Ignore it for now. Go up the three steps and sneak up behind the Guard. If you do this like I’ve told you, you will not be spotted by the guard. If he spots you, then you moved to fast or took to long. Just reload the game and try it again until you get it right. Once you have snuck up behind the guard, quickly press the action button. Lara will grab him by the neck and body slam him to the ground. Then she will smack his dome causing lights out. There are other ways to fulfill our mission here. If you stay in stealth mode and are good you can pick up the key on the floor without alerting the guard. I just like the lights out way the best. Incase you were wondering what would happen if you just walk right up to him? He would draw his gun on you and make you defend yourself or die. Ok now grab the Gantry gate key off the floor and trot on over to the locked gate. Do I really have to tell you what to do next? Ok, unlock the gate with the key. Now tread carefully sidestepping onto the ladder. Go down the ladder and forget about the lower balcony and just drop to the courtyard. Derelict Apartment Block A team of Agents and a helicopter try to corner Lara. Lara kicks open a building door and closes it quickly behind her and locks it with a metal beam. The agents will not give up that easy. They are trying to smash open the door. The beam will hold for a short while but not forever. You see that green cabinet? You can pull it with the push pull method in front of the door to help hold them off a little while longer. You don’t have to do this if you want to save more time. It really does not stop them any longer than if you left it alone. Quickly locate the stairs and go up them. As you make your way up the stairs the Agents break the door down. 2 of the agents will toss in tear gas. The 3rd agent will run in after you. Just keep going up the stairs. The game gives you plenty of time to move along. So don’t freak out on me now. Are you still with me? Stay with me here because we have things to do and people to go see. Once you make it up the stairs to the landing, ignore the boarded up doors for they will only waste valuable time. You will see an elevator in the center of the flight of stairs. Continue to move around them. Just for your info. If you ignore me and go wandering off to explore you will be caught by the Agents making Lara give herself up ending the game. So listen up all. Go across the landing going around the elevator which is not working by the way. You will find a locked door that is the door to apartment 21 that we will be back for in a little while, so make a note of where it is. Keep going around the corner until you come to a blown out gap in the stairs. You need to jump over this gap in the stairs. Once you make the jump you can relax a little. Time is now on your side. The agent is not going to come and jump over this gap anytime soon. Keep going up the stairs to the next landing. You will see parts of the wall fall through the floor ahead of you. That can’t be good. I hope they are insured. The pipes will be steaming out gas in the walls. Now this hole in the floor is bigger than the last hole. You still need to jump it though. Again save before each jump to spare you grief of starting all over again. Make a running jump over the floor. Always remember that if you see yourself coming up short on a jump, you can always press the action button to grab the edge and pull yourself up. On the other side of the hole in an alcove are some Health pills. Now find the wardrobe that is blocking your way up the rest of the stairs. You need to pull the wardrobe out so you can go around it and up the stairs to the next landing. Once you have done that you will see a small health pack so pick it up. Up on this landing you will find a door that you can open. Get Lara to force it open with her shoulder and enter the room. This is apartment 31B. You also get an upgrade to your push pull upper body strength. Level 2 Baby! Search this room for goodies. Open up the wardrobe to get a V-Packer Cartridge. You will also get a K2 Impactor Battery. Now exit the room going back to the landing. Go around the landing and pick up any Health stuff on the floor you find. Go up the stairs. To the right is a blocked dead end so ignore it. There is a small landing between a couple set of stairs. You will see a box on it. Pull the box back and next run around and push it. Push it to the edge of the lower set of stairs. Now climb up on the box. Jump and grab the railing above you. Pull yourself up onto the top floor landing. Up here you will see a locked door and a sliding door. Go and open the sliding door. This is the elevator maintenance room. Go inside the room. On the floor is the Lift Maintenance key. On the yellow brown key board on the wall is the Apartment key. Grab both of them. Now locate the green switch or lever in the room. Flip it on to activate power to the elevator. This will cause the elevator to move up to the top floor. Now go to the elevator and choose a floor to go down to. Do not choose the 0 or 1st floor. Those floors have the Agents waiting to grab you. Get on the elevator and ride it down to the floor that had the Apartment number 21. Remember it was locked before. Get off the elevator and jump over the big hole again. Now go to the locked apartment door. It is the only door that is not boarded up. Use the Apartment key to open up the door. Enter into the room to find some more goodies. The wardrobe cabinet has some health bandages. The desk in a top drawer has a chocolate bar in it and a large health pack. Now we need to go back up to the top of the stairs again. Take the elevator to get there this time. It’s much quicker. Get off the elevator and go back to the maintenance room. You will see a blue metal door that is locked at the moment. Use your Lift maintenance Key to open up the door. Now we are leaving this joint. Step out to the rooftops. This is the Industrial rooftops. Industrial Roof Tops Congrads on making it to the rooftop. You do not have to worry about the Agents inside anymore but there are plenty more out here to avoid so stay alert. Now you see the metal Ledge? You need to jump up to it and then go up the ladder to the upper part of the rooftops. Once you are on top of the upper roof look for a long wire above you that extends to the other side. You need to position Lara right under this wire so she can jump up and grab a hold of it. You will not get electrocuted so don’t chicken out. It’s best to use the walk button to get into the right position. Now SAVE YOUR GAME. We are about to shimmy along this wire to the other side. This is a long way down if you fall off the wire and Lara will surely die if she falls. You have upgraded your shimmy strength enough so far to make it all the way across. Just don’t fart around once you start to shimmy. Once you start to shimmy just go don’t stop to hang around or you will fall. Also as you start to shimmy a very unfriendly helicopter will show up to try to snipe you off. Don’t let the helicopter get you nervous. Just keep going hand over hand until you get about half way. At this point you will have a fence that is blocking Lara from going any further. Quickly press the Triangle button also known as the duck button to make Lara swing her legs up and wrap them around the wire. Continue to keep this button pushed and shimmy the rest of the way to the other side. The helicopter might get off a few shots into you if you are not quick enough. A couple of shots won’t kill you but they do cause damage. On the other side you need to drop off to a narrow rooftop. Now quickly spot the stacked boxes up here and go around the right side of them. There are some health bandages here as well. Now walk to the edge of the sloped roof and look to line yourself up with a small strip of walkway on the roof. If you stray off this strip you will slide down the slope and fall off. If you do stray and start to slide remember to press the action button before you go over the side to stop you from falling. You will have to shimmy then to the metal platform between the 2 buildings. We don’t have to worry about you falling because you are following what I tell you right? Now carefully walk down the strip on the sloped roof. When you reach the edge of the roof jump across to the small rooftop balcony on the other side. Don’t come up short here while jumping because you cannot grab the side if you do. Once on the other side find the open crate and Duck into it to get some health bandages. Now turn around and drop down between the roofs and find the metal door. It’s the one you stood on to get the Health bandages. Go through the door into the building. On the floor are some more Antique Doubloons. In the main room you will find a M-V9 clip that has 12 shots. Yeah some ammo. On a chest in the corner is a chocolate bar. Now locate another metal door and get Lara to kick it open. Go through the door to find yourself between 2 more warehouse buildings. In front of you is another metal door and a ladder on the side of the building. Climb down the ladder and drop off by a barrel on fire. Turn right and go down the passage around the corner. There is another M-V9 clip to pick up. As you keep going you will come up on a fence that Lara can climb over. It’s right by the garage door that is stuck half open. On the other side of the fence is a Rottweiler. You don’t have to climb over the fence if you don’t want to. Unless you really want to kill the Rottweiler. Just wanted to show you where the fence was and give you the option if you wanted. Most of the alleys here all lead to dead ends. Some of them will have health packs to be found. After you explore a bit return to the fire barrel. Next to the barrel is a metal crate. If you look closely at the crate you will see what looks like a generator. You need to push this crate toward the broken ladder right by the locked door. Keep pushing it till you are next to the barrel. Go to the other side and finish pushing the crate You will get an upgrade to your lower body. This means you now have stronger legs and can jump better. This brings you to level 2. We now have a choice to make here. There are 2 ways to go about our next task. You can either go to the half open garage door and crawl under it to get in the warehouse, or you can stand on this crate here you just moved and jump and grab the ladder above you to take another way to the warehouse. I will explain how to do both below. A-Garage door entrance to the warehouse. Go to the half open garage door and crawl under it to enter the warehouse. Once inside the warehouse find the lowest level ledge. To get there without losing any health use this method. Turn right and go and hang off the broken walkway ledge. Now shimmy to a drainpipe and then shimmy down the drainpipe to the lower ledge. Drop to the floor and pick up a large health pack at the base of the drainpipe. Now shimmy back up to the lower ledge. Turn to face the ledge on the other side. This is a big jump. You can now accomplish this jump since Lara just upgraded her Lower body strength to level 2. Again you better Save first! You need to line yourself up with the ledge on the other side and do a running jump. If you start to fall short quickly press the action button to grab the side and pull yourself up. Now pull yourself up to the left on a walkway to pick up a V-Packer Cartridge. Now jump the gap over the ladder in the walkway to get to a metal door on the far side. Go down the corridor passing a sealed door on your left and open the door on your right. You find yourself on a small ledge looking at a fire escape. Hop over the gap and go down the fire escape. Pick up more Antique Doubloons at the end of the ledge. Now go back to the top and open the door and climb the small ladder to reach a hut. Open the door to get to the final rooftop. B-Generator, Ladder, Rooftop Method. Climb up the ladder and go past the entrance to the warehouse. Now go to the 3rd building roof. You will come to a water barrel ledge that you have to run around to get to a 2nd ladder that you need to climb. We can complete this without even going to the 3rd warehouse but I do not recommend it. If you skip it Lara will not get a much needed lower body strength upgrade. Ok make your way up to the very top ledge of the 3rd warehouse. Pick up the V-Packer Cartridge. Now turn to the left and slide down the rooftop. There are health pills on the left of the gutters between the 2 buildings. Now go right to a ladder and climb up it to reach the final rooftop. At the top turn right. You can ignore the machine gun fire. Look in front of you. You will see a gap in the railing with a drop between the 2 buildings. Run jump over the drop with out falling to your death. You will land on the roof of the opposite building. You will see a shed or hut. You need to go around the left side of the shed to pick up more Antique Doubloons. Now escape and go see Margot Carvier. Margot Carvier’s Apartment With that dam helicopter after Lara once again, Lara has to make a quick decision. She jumps across to grab a small gutter. It does not hold Lara’s weight and breaks away from the wall. Lucky for Lara there is a dumpster to break her fall. Lara climbs out of the dumpster and checks an address from her back pocket. It is Margot Carvier’s address. Lara walks to the door and rings the buzzer. Margot lets Lara in. * How you respond to Margot will result in 2 different outcomes. So Save right before you talk to her in case you answer wrong. That would require Saving right before you complete the Industrial rooftop section. If you didn’t save, then good luck answering the right way. Hey I told you to constantly save in this game. Talking with Margot reveals that Werner was afraid for his life. Werner had been going on and on about a commission from some guy named Eckhardt. You learn about 5 medieval Obscura paintings that are rumored to be linked to Alchemy and Dark Arts. Werner was convinced he was being followed. This lead him to leave a package with Margot incase he was killed. The package is Werner’s notebook. You need that notebook. Depending on how you try to explain to Margot about what happened to Werner, She will either give you the notebook or she will not. To get the notebook you need to answer truthfully but to the point with Margot. Be sure to end your conversation with Margot by telling her you were good friends with Werner. Be bold with telling Margot that you suggest she give you the notebook. After all this talk Margot will quickly leave the apartment but give you the notebook as she leaves. She will tell you on the way out that the Police are on the way and you better hurry out of there. You have about a minuet or two to get some goodies before you go. There is a Diamond ring on a small table in the corner. It is by the fish tank. Go into the kitchen and take a bottle of Cognac by the sink. Now quickly go back to the living room and get some health pills from a desk. Leave the doors in this room alone. They are all locked. To the right of the fireplace is a hallway. Go into the hallway and exit through the door. Lara will run to a window and jump out. We are now going to the Parisian Ghetto. Parisian Ghetto Lara has been escaping Agents, Police, and Gendarmes all night long. As well as that frustrating helicopter. She needs to rest. She seeks refuge in an old abandoned metro subway car in the Parisian Ghetto. Exit the sub car through the only open door. Off in the distance you will see a bum warming himself next to a fire barrel. Go to the bum and press the action key to engage in conversation with him. Lara will ask about Bouchard. He is not going to give you any useful information. He will tell you to visit Café Metro in the Palace d’ Arcade. He says the owner might have the info you are looking for. Ok now it’s time to get out of here. Go back to the subway car. Find the broken section of brownish colored pipe next to the car. Climb up onto it. Now face the subway car and jump and grab the edge and pull yourself up on top of the car. Crawl under the pipes that block your movement down the roof of the car. Now pick up the large health pack that is here. Crawl back under the pipes again. Find the small section of fence that goes up from the top of the subway car. Go to the fence and Lara will automatically start to climb the fence. Continue up the fence till you reach the top of the large pipe you just crawled under. Pull yourself up onto the grating above it. Walk to the end of the grate walkway and you will find a hole in the fence. The fence goes all along the edge of the tunnel. Jump through the hole in the fence and land on a dirt path. There is a guy to your right in the corner. He is standing right next to a door. He is more like a drug dealing pimp than anything else. Talk to him. He tries to get Lara to buy some of his products. Lara will ask for some info on Bouchard. He will tell you that information like that is dangerous. He will talk about a serial killer named Monstrum. He says no one is safe from Monstrum. Bouchard is not even safe. You learn that Bouchard runs a club called the “Le Serpent Rouge”. He has had a time with his staff since the Monstrum murder’s. Bouchard is even fearful of this Monstrum killer. He will tell you to visit the Café Metro as well. After you finish talking to this jokester go through the door right next to him to go to the Parisian Ghetto Proper area. The front entrance to the “Le Serpent Rouge” is to your right upon entering the Ghetto streets. You cannot enter them though because they are locked. You will need to find a way into the club eventually. There are other things we need to do first before we try to get in there. You will see a lady in red with blonde hair right next to the club. Do you call someone for sale a lady? Anyway her name is Janice. With the proper dialog selected you can get important info out of her. Go talk to her now. Janice does not seem to happy that Lara is here. Here is what you need to say to get the right info from Janice. 1. “Have you worked in this neighborhood for long?” 2. “Oh? Trouble?” 3. “What makes this café owner so unlucky?” You will learn that Bouchard had to leave the “Le Serpent Rouge” after the murder’s. He is keeping a low profile for the time being. Janice has no idea where he is hiding out. She says that the Monstrum killings has everyone on the streets so afraid that no one talks about it. She will mention 2 ex-workers who use to work at the club. The janitor Bernard. You can find him in the park. The 2nd one is Pierre. He use to be a bartender at the club. He now operates the Café Metro. There seems to be bad blood between Bouchard and Pierre because Bouchard owes Pierre money and some valuable items. Toward the end of your conversation Janice will mention that the radio just said that Margot Carvier has been murdered. Another one bites the dust. Hey at least it’s a good song! After speaking with Janice, turn right and go down the street past the club. When you run into a dead end hang a left and go up the little hill to a sidewalk on your right. You need to hang a U-turn onto the sidewalk to see a door. This door leads into the Willowtree Herbalist Shop. Go into the Shop. Talk to the Shop owner. He claims he does not know Bouchard. He does know a guy who is a doorman for Bouchard. This doorman is Bouchard’s bodyguard as well. He tells Lara that if she can get enough money and figure out the password the doorman might take her to where Bouchard is. This Shopkeeper does not know how to get the password. Ok, that’s all you can do in this Shop. So exit out the door back out to the street. Now lets go to the Church. It is right across the way from the Willowtree Shop. You can’t miss it. It has a crosswalk right in front of it. The name of the Church is St. Aicard’s Church. You will not get any info in the church, but you can win a gold watch and get a lower body upgrade inside. As you enter the Church you will notice this is not really a Church at all. It has been redone on the inside to make a Gym. There is a boxing ring in the center with 2 guys boxing while the trainer watches. First thing we need to do is find the white stone altar. It is in the front of the Church. Walk up to the stone altar and use the push pull method to move the altar. When Lara is done she will get an upgrade to her lower body strength. This will help you jump farther now. Now if you have enough cash on you, more like 200 bucks, Lara can bet on the fight. If you don’t have enough money yet you will after we visit the pawn shop. After you get enough money to place a bet, go over to the trainer. Talk to him. He will get a little smart with Lara. Lara will convince him to make a bet on the fight with her. Your 200 bucks against his nice Gold watch. Now pick a fighter to bet on. Carl or Zak. I won by picking Carl. It may be random so save before you try this, because once you bet you cannot bet again unless you reload the game. After you win the bet the trainer will give you the watch. That’s it for the Church. Exit back out to the street. NOTE: Right across the street from the Church is the Doorman the Willowtree Owner was talking about. He is guarding the entrance to St. Aicard’s Graveyard. If you want to get past him you will need the trinket box and 800 bucks. You also need a password from Bernard. Well you don’t have any of these so just remember where it is incase you decide later to take that route. I say decide because there are other ways to get into the Graveyard without going through the doorman. One of the other ways is through Francine’s Apartment. It is just down the road to your right on the right hand side of the road. You will need a code to get into Francine’s apartment first. If you can get this code she will help you get into the Graveyard. Now lets go to the friendly neighborhood Pawn Shop. The Pawn Shop is owned by A guy named Daniel Rennes. You will find him unpleasant to deal with. He does not trust anyone. Ok to get there we need to go back to the club where Janice is. Once you are there go down the street passing Janice until you come to a Bob’s like barricade. It’s painted orange and red. The Pawn Shop is the last door on the right side of the street. Go into the Shop now. In here you can sell all your items for cash. Sell everything that you can sell to the owner. You will not sell anything that is mission critical so go ahead and sell all you can. Example: Antique Doubloons, Diamond ring, Gold Watch, and Diamond necklace. Once you have finished selling everything exit back out to the streets. Now you need to decide which one of these you are going to do? Or do them both if you want. You need to either meet Pierre at the Café Metro or Bernard in the park to get a key and a way in to the “Le Serpent Rouge.” Both of these guys will ask for you to get them the same thing. They want something in the club for their services to you. If you go with Pierre, He will give you the code to Francine’s apartment to get into the Graveyard. This is the one I like the best. If you choose to go with Bernard, he will give you the password to get by the doorman into the Graveyard. I will tell you how to both each below. A-Café Metro (Pierre) To get to the Café Metro we need to go back to the main entrance of the club where Janice is. Once you are there go up the stairs across the street from the club. At the top of the stairs locate the courtyard just past the top of the stairs. Go there and pass a Butcher Shop and a street that is closed off by 3 concrete pillars. The Café Metro is to the right of the pillars. You will see a motorcycle parked right in front of the Café. Enter into the Café. Notice that there is a customer at a table in the Café. He will not talk so ignore him. I just pointed him out because he comes up a little bit later in the game. Pierre gets a phone call. Go over and talk to Pierre. Don’t worry he will hang up the phone when you approach him. You are not going to get any info out him for nothing. If you will do a favor for him first he will help you out. It seems he has left something very important to him back at the club. It is hidden in a broken stage light. If you agree to do this, Pierre will give you a back door key to the club. This is what you need to say to get the most info from Pierre. “No, I don’t, but I do deal with problems. Sort them out.” B-Bernard in the Park Fist thing in being able to go this rout is you need to have no less than 160 bucks to talk to Bernard. If you do not have that amount then you will not get any info out of Bernard. To get to Bernard you need to find the park entrance. It is directly across the street from St. Aicard’s Church. The entrance is an iron gate. Go through the gate and into the park and find Bernard. Now go talk to Bernard. This guy is a nut case. This is what you need to say to Bernard to get the proper info. 1. “Your name’s Bernard? Janice said I might find you here.” 2. “I’m trying to find someone.” 3. “Here. Now, how do I find Bouchard?” For 160 bucks his memory just might clear a bit. Give him the cash. He will tell Lara that he left a box behind at the club in a broken stage light. He wants Lara to go and get it and then he will give her the password to the doorman. If you accept, He will give you the Janitor’s key that will unlock the garage entrance to the club. Ok now go to the club. Le Serpent Rouge The Garage Entrance Using Bernard’s Key. To find the garage entrance you need to go to the side of the Le Serpent Rouge facing the street. You will see a big garage door and a green door right next to it. Go to the green door and press action to unlock it with Bernard’s key. Enter the door. You will see a jeep with the top down. It is on a maintenance lift. It looks like there is no way to get to the club from in here doesn’t it? There is a secret passage in here. Of course I will tell you what you need to do. Go over to the yellow lift and pull the lever there to raise the jeep. When the jeep moves up the game camera will briefly show you some Antique Doubloons on the floor in the garage office. Now go over to the desk. To the right of the desk is another lever you need to pull. Pull it. This will open up the secret passage under the lift. You will also get an upper body strength upgrade by pulling the lever. Now that you have strengthened your upper body you can break open the garage office door and get the Antique Doubloons if you want them. Now on the desk you can pick up a Socket Spanner. In the lockers you will find a K2 Impactor Battery, and a Desert Ranger Clip. There is a health bandage and a Antique Flintlock too. Now drop down into the secret Passage and go along the hallway till you reach a ladder. The ladder leads up to a storage area. At the end of the room the door is locked and you do not have the key to it. The other end of the room has a lever. You will find a bottle of Cognac on the floor near the lever. Pick it up. Now use the Socket Spanner on the lever to move a dumbwaiter near the door. This will alert a guard, who will run down to the storage room from the dance floor up above. Quickly go into your Stealth mode. Now hide behind the kegs by the wall. The guard will investigate and shine his flashlight around. Finding nothing he will eventually leave. He forgets to lock the door behind him as he leaves. That is our way into the club to the dance floor. Go through the door to the dance floor now. *To get any further in the club jump to the dance floor section of this walkthrough. Back Door Entrance With Pierre’s Key. To get to this door you need to go to the alley around the corner from the garage entrance. Use the key Pierre gave you to open the back door entrance. The door is right next to a manhole cover on the floor. Don’t go into the manhole cover yet. Just go through the back door to the club for now. As soon as you enter you will get a cut scene showing the club’s office area. In this office there are items that you need to pick up. There is also a guard in this office. So don’t go there or you will be fired upon. Go down the hallway opposite of the office around the corner. In the middle of this hallway you will find a lever on the wall. It's on the left hand side. You need to pull this lever to turn off the lights in the office. Then quickly go into Stealth mode and run into the room next to the lever. This will cause the guard to come down the hall to investigate. As he rounds the corner in the hallway sneak up on him and take him out stealth style. After you take out the guard pick up his pistol and M-V9 Clip. Now that you have eliminated the guard you are free to go and search the office the guard was roaming around in. You can turn the lights back on first to see better if you wish. Go to the office now. Once in the office pick up the following off the desk. The stage door key, More Antique Doubloons, and a roll of cash. That’s all you can do in the office. Now you need to go back down the hall to where you turned the lights out. A little further down the hall is the door to the dance floor. Go to that door and use the stage door key you just picked up in the office to open it and step through to the dance floor. *To get any further in the club jump to the dance floor section of this walkthrough. Dance Floor Section In The Club It does not matter which method you used to get to the dance floor. Both methods enter you in the same place in the dance floor. As soon as you step through the door to the dance floor you will see a guard near by. Sooo, enter into your stealth mode quickly. Now locate a bunch of amplifiers and some crates near by. Hurry over to them and hide behind them so the guard will not spot you. You should know what to do next by now. Wait until the guard gets as close as possible and sneak up behind him and take him out. You should be getting good at this by now. Now you need to find the stage with a lever that will turn on the dance music and the lights. It is on a wood planked stage. There is a set of stairs leading up to the stage. The lever is right next to a black banner with a white alien looking face on it. Now go up to the stage and you will see a record player. Grab the Antique Record off the player. You can pawn this for some more mula later. Now before you turn to face the wall and pull the lever you better listen up! Get ready to quickly go into stealth mode after you pull the lever. As soon as you pull the lever, the dance floor music will start playing rather loudly and the lights will flash all over the place. This will attract 2 more guards who will come to investigate. If you want to take them out quick like you can just shot them. Remember that you want to try to save your ammo for harder confrontations later in the game. You can be patient and just take them out in stealth mode to conserve your bullets. That was what I did. Ok, now to leave the stage you should climb over the railing opposite the stairs you used to get to the stage. This will drop you onto a pack of health pills. There is a bar off to the side that has some goodies that we need to go get. First make sure you have either shot the guards, which is a rather risky way to go about it. Or my choice, take out the guards in stealth mode. The one guard you need to be careful with is the guard by the yellow room in the corner. If you take him out be ready for another guard that will come out by a door to see what’s going on. You will have to take him out as well. After all that killing take a breather for a minuet. Congrads on the good work. Lets go get some goodies from the bar now. Go behind the bar and pick up another bottle of Cognac. There are some more Antique Doubloons on the bar too. Now as you are exiting from behind the bar, look on the wall next to the bar for a lever. If you pull the lever you will call down a dumbwaiter. When it reaches the bottom the door will open to reveal some V-Packer Cartridges. Now onto the next phase. Find a set of stairs that lead up to the catwalk right above the dance floor. Go to those stairs now. Now you need to heed my warning before advancing up the stairs. There will be a guard who will appear at the top of the stairs as soon as you start to go up them. There are a couple of ways to handle this. 1. You can run up the stairs and take him out, hoping he will not get a shot off into you first. If you chose this course to take, you better get ready for another guard who will come out of a door at the top of the stairs. 2. You can try to coax the guard to come down the stairs after you and take him out below. It was not easy to coax him down the stairs for me. I got frustrated and rushed the guard and then shot the second one. The first guard shot me once but I had enough health supplies to heal Lara. In my opinion The first method was worth saving all kinds of hassle. After that is all over with, go around the catwalk to the other side of the room. You will see a crate that you can move. There is a pile of junk that is blocking the next set of stairs. The crate that you can move is black with metal trim. Go and pull the crate away from the wall onto the small landing on the catwalk. Up above you is the light system. You need to make sure you line up the crate with the light system. After you move the crate into position Lara will get an upgrade to her jump and lower body. This brings her to level 2 I think. Go and climb up onto the crate you just moved. Jump up and grab a hold of the light system. Pull yourself up onto the light system. Now for this next series of jumps and movements, I would suggest you save after completing each task. Walk along the lights until you are over the center of the room. Now turn and face the catwalk on the other side of the room. Walk to the edge of the light system. Line yourself up with the catwalk and jump over to the catwalk. This jump is not really hard. You can make it by doing a standing jump. If you start to come up short for some reason just press the action key to grab on and pull yourself up. As soon as you land on the catwalk another guard will come out of a door near by. Take him out real fast like. Make sure you pick up the large health pack on the catwalk you just jumped to. There are some health bandages by the guard you just killed as well. By the health bandages you just picked up, you will see a missing part of the catwalk. Line yourself up with the moving light system that comes near the gap in the floor. When the light system reaches it’s lowest point, jump onto it. I say that like it’s real easy right? Here’s a little tip for ya. I kept doing this and wanted to throw my controller through the TV. First save the game. Then jump but do not hold down the forward button after you begin to jump. If you do you will sail past the light system and break your neck. Go for it! Good luck! Once you’ve made it SAVE. Now you need to jump to the opposite side of the light system. Use the same technique as the previous jump. Don’t over shoot the jump. Good now turn to your left and walk over to the scaffolding in the corner and start to climb it. Once you start to climb it stop and swing around about 90 degrees to your right and continue climbing up to the next level of the light system. This should put you standing on a triangle like corner of the floor. Now you need to face the opposite triangle corner. You need to do a standing jump over to the opposite corner. Now save again before the next jump. Turn a little to your left and face the green catwalk off in the distance. You need to wait until the light system is up to it’s highest point before you jump. Jump over to the green catwalk. Once you make it to the green catwalk, find the ladder close to you. Go and climb the ladder. Now you are as high as you can go in this room. I hope heights don’t scare you. At the top of the ladder you will see a short section of the catwalk. It travels toward the center of the room. You will see that at the end of the catwalk is a brown box hanging from the light system. You will be using this box in a few minuets, so remember where it is. This is where you will be picking up the Trinket Box Pierre and Bernard want. From the top of the ladder you just climbed up, Walk along the wall and you will start to slide down the catwalk as it angles downward. When you get close to the end of the slide you need to jump off leaping to a small platform in the corner. Now move counter-clockwise around the room jumping off the next platform. Now you need to jump off the end of this platform and press your action key so you will grab the metal scaffold in front of you. Do not try to pull yourself up yet. Shimmy to your left until you have shimmied past the pipes above the scaffold. Once you are past the pipes go ahead and pull yourself up. Now that you are on top of the light system, look below to see the control room. You need to hop down onto the catwalk next to the control room. Once on the catwalk notice the raised like bridge of the catwalk. Don’t bother trying to open the control room door yet. Lara is not strong enough yet to shove it open. She will be in a minuet though. Walk over to the raised part of the catwalk. Press your action key and Lara will kick it over to lower it. After this kick Lara will upgrade her lower body strength which will allow Lara to open up the control room now. Now go and break open the control room door. There is a control console in here. This console operates the light system. It will move it around the room. Face the control console and notice that it has 2 different controls. The left control will rotate the lights counter-clockwise. The right control will move the lights close the brown box that the Trinket box is. Pull the left control 2 times. Now pull the right control once. Now the Trinket Box should be in the brown crate. Now you should exit the control room. Go across the catwalk you just kicked down. Climb the ladder there. Go to the brown crate and claim your Trinket Box. Good Job. Feel good about your accomplishment. It won’t get easier from here on out. We are finished with the Dance floor mission now. We need to start back across the catwalk to the control room. There is a guard there now waiting to take your head off if you let him. Take out the guard and then pick up the Ticket Office Key from the floor of the control room. Before you leave you can climb down a ladder in the control room to get a chocolate bar. After you get the candy bar go back up the stairs. Use the Ticket Office Key to open up the door opposite of the control console. You will arrive outside of the club Le Serpent Rouge on a fire escape. Climb down the fire escape ladder to reach the street level of the Perisian Ghetto. Metro Tunnels We are now going to explore the Metro Tunnels. You get into the tunnels through the manhole covers in the streets. Let’s go to one now. Make your way back to the front of the club Le Serpent Rouge. Near the front entrance to the club in the street is a manhole cover. Go there now. Press the action key to go down below into the tunnels. Once you are below go down the tunnel and make a left at the 4 way intersection. Go to the end of the tunnel until you see some boxes. Climb up onto the biggest box there. Look at the wall to see a brick like pattern. You can climb up this pattern to a small wood platform. Once up on the platform look for the platform in the opposite direction. Jump over to that platform. Now face the wall and jump up to grab the ledge. Shimmy to your right to enter a tunnel between the 2 platforms. You need to press the crawl key to crawl to the end of the tunnel. Now you will see a lit up tunnel at the end. Jump up into the lighted tunnel. Go to the end of this tunnel. This leads to the entrance gate of the street level Parisian Ghetto. Go ahead and unlock the gate from this side. There is also goodies to pick up here. Pick up the V-Packer Cartridges. There are Vector R35 Clips here too. Don’t forget the health bandages. Go all the way back to the 4 way intersection now. Take a left once you get there. You will arrive in a very large round room. In the center the pathway is broken. Back up and line yourself up with the other side of the pathway. Now do a running jump and grab if you have to get to the other side. On the other side go down to the end of the tunnel and find a ladder. Climb up the ladder. You will find a door closed at the top of the ladder. Make Lara kick down the door. Pick up the large health pack on the other side of the door. Take the hallway until you get to a catwalk overlooking the area you were just in. Pick up the money on the floor here. Go back to the large round room with the broken pathway. Make another running jump across to the other side again. Once you land pull yourself up and turn right. Walk to the edge of the zig zag pathway. At the end find the brick pattern wall like the one you climbed before. To climb down it you need to hang from the broken pathway then shimmy to the wall. Go down the wall to find a small tunnel below. There is a Diamond Ring in this small tunnel. Pick it up and go back up the wall to the broken pathway. Go back to the 4 way intersection and back down the tunnel that leads back up to the streets. We are finished with the Metro tunnels now. Once back up in the streets, you should be back in front of the club Le Serpent Rouge. You need to go back to the pawn shop and sell everything you can. You will not be able to return to the pawn shop to sell anything after the next mission. In case you forgot how to get there I will tell you again quickly. To get to Rennes Pawn shop, go past Janice down the street until you come to the road barricades. The shop is on the right. We will wait for you here in front of the club until you get back. Good luck making a buck. OK, Good! You are back. Now for the next mission. You have the Trinket box now! You need to trade it to either Pierre or Bernard to get access into the St. Aicard’s Graveyard. You make the decision. I went with Pierre because Bernard was a rude fat excuse for a human being. I will go over both options for you below. Entering the Graveyard with Pierre’s Help. This option is the longest way to get to the Graveyard. It is the most fun way to get there too. If you want to get to the Graveyard the quickest and easiest way then do the option using Bernard. I have always liked to pick the more challenging options myself. Ok to get there using Pierre first you need to go back to the Café Metro. If you forgot how to get there just go up the stairs across the street from the Le Serpent Rouge Club. As you go back to the Café Metro you will see a cut scene with a guy riding off down the road on the motorcycle that was in front of the Café before. Anyway go and enter the Café. Go up to the counter where Pierre is and press action to talk to him. Pierre is a little bit of a smart ass as you can see. Lara sets him straight though. Pierre also mentions the guy who was sitting at the table in here when you came in before. He tells Lara that he was asking questions about her. Lara gets irritated by this and tells Pierre he has a big mouth and to keep it down. Trade the Trinket Box to Pierre for Pierre’s contact name. It is Francine. He gives you Francine’s apartment number code to get in. Lara tells Pierre he better not be lying to her or she will be back. To find out the Apartment code look at the code in your items inventory. The code is 15328. Exit the Café Metro. Francine’s Apartment overlooks the St. Aicard’s Graveyard. To get there you need to go back to where the Church was. Go there now. The door to Francine’s apartment is close to where Bouchard’s doorman is. It’s the only door that has a Key code next to it. Go up to the key coder and punch in the code 15328 to enter into Francine’s apartment. Speak to Francine to learn where Bouchard’s hideout is. It is in the basement of the old church. The only way you are going to get there is through the Graveyard. There is a Mausoleum you need to get to. After a few more words with Francine she tells you that you can get to the Graveyard by going out her window. The ledges out the window are small and it is easy to fall to your death so be very careful. Are you ready to get it started? Let’s do it. Go over to the window Francine was talking about. Press the action key to make Lara climb out the window to the balcony. Turn right and face the part of the balcony without a railing. Make a running jump over to the other balcony pressing the action key to grab the edge. Pull yourself up on to the balcony. Walk across this short balcony and climb over the balcony railing. You will see a pole that is running up in front of you. You need to climb up this pole. Climb the pole and pull yourself up on to the ledge at the top. Now you need to run along this ledge to the corner in front of you. Do not walk because the ledge will start to fall apart as you step on it. You need to run but be careful not to run too far and run off the other side. Go ahead and run to the corner now. You now need to hang off the edge of the ledge and shimmy to your right. Shimmy until you are over a balcony with a red wire hanging above it. Drop down onto this balcony. Now jump up and grab the red wire and shimmy all the way to the other side. Drop down on the other side onto another balcony. Turn right and walk to the end of this balcony and find the small part that does not have any railing. Press action to hang from the edge of the balcony with no railing and then drop down below. This will put you in the St. Aicard’s Graveyard. *See St. Aicard’s Graveyard section to continue with the walkthrough. Entering the Graveyard with Bernard’s Help. You need to go back to the park to speak to Bernard. If you forgot where the park was, it is across the street from the Church. Go there now. Press the action key to start the conversation. Give Bernard the Trinket Box. Bernard will give Lara the password to get past the doorman. The password is: Pluit Noir. Which means black rain in case you were wondering. Now you need to go to the doorman. Go there now. Tell the doorman the password. He will accept it. He will let you through the gate. This puts you into the St. Aicard’s Graveyard. You can also get past the doorman without the password for a price. It will cost you 800 bucks and the Trinket Box, but the doorman will let you through. *See St. Aicard’s Graveyard section to continue with the walkthrough. St. Aicard’s Graveyard. Depending on how well the AI computer thinks you are doing in the game will result in how many Rottweiler’s you find in the Graveyard. I had 2 Rottweiler’s in my game. You may just have 1. Either way keep an eye out for them. You can shoot them to get rid of them or you can avoid them all together by staying off of the ground. You can avoid them by jumping from Mausoleum to Mausoleum. Note: If you are entering the Graveyard from Francine’s Apartment then you are standing on the 3rd Crypt from the entrance of the Graveyard. If you came in from the Graveyard entrance by way of Bernard’s help then you start off on the ground by the Graveyard entrance. If you entered by way of Francine then ignore the next part until we come to the 3rd crypt. Starting from the Graveyard entrance, run up to the Mausoleum in the corner of the Graveyard. It overlooks a tomb that has a fence around it. Now jump up to grab the roof of the Mausoleum. Pull yourself up onto the roof. Now jump down over the fence into the tomb. Walk over to the tomb door. Press the action key to have Lara break open the door. This will upgrade Lara’s upper body strength. Pick up the 2 clips of 9MM ammo inside the tomb. Now you need to go and climb up onto the 3rd crypt from the entrance of the Graveyard. Here is where you who entered from Francine’s apartment can continue to follow along. Jump to the big Mausoleum in front of you. You will need to grab the edge and pull yourself up onto the roof. Do another running jump forward and grab the edge of the next Mausoleum. Pull yourself up onto the roof. Turn right and jump onto the next Mausoleum. You need to grab the edge of the roof here to. Pull yourself up onto the roof. Turn left and jump and grab the edge of the next Mausoleum. Pull yourself up onto the roof. Jump and grab the next Mausoleum straight ahead and pull yourself up onto the roof. Turn right and jump down onto the roof of the tomb below you. This tomb has a fence around it. If you are here from Francine’s apartment, you need to go to the tomb door and shove it open to receive and upgrade to your upper body strength. There are some goodies inside too. If you do not get the upgrade, you will not have enough strength to push over the statue. Now go over behind the angel statue and press the action key to push the statue over. It will crash through the crypt and open up an entrance to Bouchard’s hideout. Go through the entrance to Bouchard’s hide out now. Bouchard’s Hideout. Now we will get to finally meet the big crime lord himself. I bet you thought you would never get here. If you have made it this far you should feel good about yourself. You have come along way. We still have a long way to go so suck it up and move on soldier. You arrive in a tunnel. One end has a pile of boulders blocking any way past it. So, take the only other direction and you will go past a locked door. As you head down the tunnel the floor will fall apart so get ready to use the action button. As the floor falls away use the action button to grab the side of the gapping hole in the floor. Now drop down into the hole below. Walk straight along the bottom of the hole to the other side. You will come to a rough section of rock in the wall. Lara will say that she can climb it. Well don’t argue with a woman so you better climb it. It will put you back up into the tunnel again across the other side of the hole. There is another hole right next to the one you just climbed out of. Turn to the right and walk up to the wall facing it. Jump up and grab the pipe above. Shimmy across the pipe to the left to reach the other side of the hole. If you accidentally fall into the 2nd hole don’t get to upset. There is a tunnel that will lead you to the 1st hole allowing you to try it again until you get it. Now past the 2nd hole is yet a 3rd hole. This hole will drop you into water. So hold your breath and go for a swim. Dive under the water using your jump button. Swim straight ahead going under some rubble to reach the other side of the hole. It is really dark under the water so pay close attention to where you are swimming. If you get disoriented you might drown. That would really suck huh? Now once you have made it out of the water you need to search for a climbable patch of wall. It is kind of hard to see but I have faith in you. Find it and climb to the top. At the top locate the big crack in the wall. Jump up and grab the crack and shimmy along it to reach the end of the 3rd hole. Drop to the ground once past the 3rd hole. Walk down the tunnel and you will come up on a short fenced metal gate in the wall on your right. Use your action key to have Lara kick it open. Now crawl through the gate. Now go through the doors past the metal gate to return to the beginning of this level. You will see a door that was locked when you began the level earlier. Unlock the door. Doing so will allow you to bypass all 3 holes. Go back to the fenced metal gate. Crawl back through to the tunnel. Turn right and locate the rubble down the tunnel. Go to the rubble now. Press your action key and pull back on your analog stick to pull out a chunk of the rubble. The pile of rubble will shift a little bit. You cannot get through so don’t waste your time. Instead crawl back through the fenced metal gate. Now go back to the door you just unlocked that takes you back to the beginning of this level. Once back at the beginning of the level, locate the section that use to be blocked with rubble. It is now passable to you. Move on through the now cleared rubble, and come up to a tunnel filled with water in the floor. Jump into the water. Swim to the other side. Pull out of the water back onto the floor. Continue down the tunnel until you come to a small room with a hole in the wall. Go through the hole in the wall to arrive in an empty cell. Head through the only door that you can go through. You will arrive in the next cell. You will see a freak of nature lying on a cot in the cell. It looks like it is half man and half alien to me. It doesn’t really do anything but move around a little. Exit through the door from this cell. Go to the end of the hallway to a closed door. On the other side of this door is Bouchard. I would Save the game before you go through. If you are not careful with how you answer him, you will offend him. If you offend him, he will shoot you! Ok, go through the door and approach Bouchard. Press action to start the conversation. He will mention about the fate of that freak of nature back in the cell. He tells Lara it is none of her business. He will play dumb and not seem to know Eckhardt or Werner Von Croy. Here is what you need to say to Bouchard to get the most out of the conversation and gain his trust. 1. Easy, Bouchard. I lost that friend yesterday. Now I’m wanted for his murder. 2. A front, obviously. 3. Passports! Bouchard wants to know what Lara knows about the Monstrum killings. After a while Bouchard will spill some info on Werner Von Croy. It seems Von Croy wanted access to the archaeological finds inside the Louvre. Bouchard admits to giving Von Croy a contact. He will offer to give Lara the same contact if she wants it. Lara will try to get Bouchard to give her some weapons and ammo. Bouchard does not have any and refers her to Rennes Pawnshop. Rennes will need some proof that Lara is trusted by Bouchard before he will deal with her. To show this proof Lara will have to deliver Rennes some Czech passports. When the conversation is over, you need to open the exit from Bouchard’s hideout. To do this you need to find a lever in Bouchard’s hideout. It is in Bouchard’s office. Go pull the lever now. When you pull the lever it will open a cell door down the hall. Go down the hall to the cell you just opened up with the lever. It’s the only cell that was closed before you pulled the lever. Enter the cell and find a wood crate in the cell. Move the crate by pulling it. You need to pull it right next to the doorway. Now climb onto the crate and face the doorway. Jump up to grab a loft above the door. Pull up onto the loft and find another lever on the wall. Pull the lever. This will open the locked door back in Bouchard’s office. Jump back down to the ground and return to Bouchard’s office. Go through the new unlocked door and this will exit you back out to the inside of the St. Aicard’s Church.
