Here's another way to defeat Tavion: 
When the cutscene ends, immediately turn to your left and head back into the door you came 
out to meet here. Once inside the doorway, turn around and look at Tavion.  Hit her with a 
shot  from any of your weapons -  this will effectively tick her off and start her running 
after you. When she does, turn back around and head into the room on the left(the one with 
the R2 and 3PO units in it).  Jump up on to the top of the balcony and turn around. Tavion 
will  have  followed you into this room, and I've found that this room provides a lot more 
obstacles  for you to mount a strategic  attack as opposed to being out in the open on the 
landing platform where she has an easy target. In fact, I found that while I was up on the 
platform and off to the side of the room, she found herself under the stairways,looking at
me.Since I wasn't attacking,she didn't move.I hit her with several shots from my strongest 
blaster and she went down without a fight.
