General Game Hints

Dodge Clouds 
When you're near a blue cloud, press pause or select and then push B. If you were close 
enough, the cloud should be gone. Note that this does not work on big clouds.

Anticipate where the smoke is going 
When you're in the blue car flying to Hogwarts, every now and then pause the game. If done 
corectly, you will see the smoke coming out of the trains smoke-stack.

As soon as u get out of Flitwick's or McGonagall's challenge (not lockheart's) the teacher 
gives u 40 housepoints wait until all that is done, save the game and then leave the room. 
Quit the game then load it again. You should then see Harry crawl out of the hole and be 
given another 40 house points. Do this as many times as u want. 
Note if McGonagall's does not work try it on Flitwicks!!

100 House Points
Go to the Chamber of Secrets and destroy the pictures and you'll get 100 House Points.
