This is a nice little glitch when you need to rest: 

1) Pause the game 

2) Click the rest button 

3) If you are spotten by an amnish guard just press 
the rest button again 

4) repeat until you are not spotted bye guards anymore 

DO NOT DO THIS CHEAT IF YOU ARE IN A PLACE WHERE MONSTERS COULD APPEAR IT WILL NOT WORK.
