At the beginning of the game first build at least
50 fighters and 5 destroyers. 
Then build 1 terraformer and 1 colonization ship. 
Then build 2 more terraformer and colonization ships.
It's better to make 1 planet whit tank production 1 
whit ship production and 2 whit technological production.
The rest of your planets may build production (the first on).

The best race is the Kra'hen. 
They have destroctur rays for there batleships.
Second the Antarian empire. 
There ships are mutch faster and defensive. 
Third the Solarians. 
There reasherch is 20 procent faster. 

Make alot of ally's. 
They wont attack you! (but maybe you do!) 
And make a trade route offer.
