Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec

The "DoDo" plane is actually flyable. At first when you are just messing around with it, you can get flight times of 4 seconds. I nearly gave up when I pulled 16 seconds out of it and flew all the way across the river to staunton island. YES IT IS POSSIBLE! In fact I got so good at flying my best time so far is 104 seconds. It is incredible because they actually built thermals into the game... god this game rocks... when you hit certain areas you can hear the wind noises and the plane actually lifes up and you hit turbulence... Anyway this is how you do it. Start picking up speed down the run way push down, at first nothing happens but as you gain more and more speed the nose begins to pitch downward... the trick is to hold it down as long as possible before the plane grounds out and stops... so hold it down and right before it grounds out release it, now here is the tricky part... as you are climbing, if you climb too fast you stall and go down, keep tapping down to keep your nose down. There you have it you're flying, you have to keep tapping down to keep flying, if your nose goes up too fast you stall and once again crash. The only two spots I have found thermal pockets in, are over the river and if you fly towards the huge tower near the airport theres another there. If you aim for these two spots you will be lifted higher into the air... YAY!!! YOU REALLY CAN FLY, so it seems they didn't get lazy, in fact it is really realistic. ENJOY!!!
