Free upgrades:

If you and a friend are both playing GT3 then 
split the cars you buy, one buys a FF car and
one buys a FR car, then upgrade them to the 
max and go to the trade section in your garage
area. The cars trade for the purchase price 
but you get all of the upgrades done to the 
car for free.
