Be gentle with your steering. You loose
speed whenever you skid.
Try using the Direction pad to steer or
set the steering speed sensitivity to
medium or high.
If playing on automatic transmission listen
to the engine and change down gear when the
revs are low.
For shallow & medium corners let off the gas
instead of breaking.
Experiment with using the handbrake to get
round tight corners.
It is better to reduce your speed to avoid a
collision then to plough through the traffic.
Try and anticipate what the traffic is going
to do - It's usually better to take corners on
the inside since the other cars tend to swing
out.
Try to keep on the road and off the grass and
dirt.
From a standing start some cars will wheel-spin
if the revs are too high.
On the jumps try to land the car on the off-ramp.
If you overshoot then a heavy landing will slow
you down.
