Once you have won a substansial number of
missions (25 I think, but maybe more), if you
enter the cantina on a jungle world, you can
walk into any of the three tables with junk on
them and get an infinate supply of mushrooms. 
Just keep walking into the tables. You are 
then free to trade your medpacks for weapons.

I have recently found another bonus at higher
levels. Once you complete several missions 
(should be 25 again), in the desert world
spaceport, go to the house full of jawas near
the cantina. Walk into the boxes around the 
rooms. Three should turn into grenades. Move
the fourth for a medkit. 

P.S. If anyone can find a simillar bonus on the
ice world let me know. I suspect the greenhouse 

P.P.S. In the ice world spaceport, any time you
see a tauntaun, aproach it for one Q-ration.
