Make a pitcher bat in a game hosted by an American
League team:

During the middle of a game, make the first 
baseman & designated hitter (DH) switch positions.
The player who used to be the designated hitter 
will then be the first baseman, and the player who
used to be the first baseman will be taken out of 
the lineup, and in his place will be the current 
pitcher!

Example:

Roger Clemens is pitching for the Yankees. Luis 
Sojo is the DH, and Tino Martinez is the first 
baseman. Sojo and Martinez switch positions. 
Martinez is taken out of the game, making Sojo 
the first baseman. There will be no DH and 
instead of the DH, Clemens will bat.

The only way to undo this trick and the only way
for the first baseman to return to the game is 
to start the game (not season) all over again,
and the pitcher will always bat ninth. The lineup,
well I can't explain.
